CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS


Arthur J. Radin is the managing partner of Radin, Glass & Co., LLP and head of the Firm's accounting and auditing practice. In addition, he is in charge of quality control and report review. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and forensic accounting
services.
Prior to his founding the Firm, Art was a member of Feldman Radin & Co., PC for twenty years and president for 15 years. He was also associated
with Deloitte
& Touche for 18 years, where he was a partner for 10 years.
Besides his expertise in accounting and auditing, Art is a proficient and
creative tax professional. He is a recognized expert in retailing, publishing,
brokerage firms and litigation support, and has considerable experience working
with companies in the manufacturing and service industries.
Art has served on the SEC Regulations Committee of the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants as well as a number of the New York State Society
committees, including the Retail Committee.
He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Art received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College and a Masters in
Business Administration from New York University.
A founding member of Radin, Glass & Co.,LLP, Elliott M. Glass is the Firm's senior tax partner. After working for a
short time in a small-firm environment, he began his career at Feldman Radin
& Co., PC, 1979, where he advanced to senior tax partner in 1986.
His primary areas of responsibility include tax planning and compliance for
individuals and business clients of all sizes, estate and gift tax planning,
and representation before all administrative levels of federal, state and local
governments.
After receiving a Bachelor's degree in accounting from the State University of
New York at Binghamton, Elliott earned his MS degree in accounting from the
Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a JD degree from St.
John's University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the
American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the American
Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants. He is admitted to the Bar
in New York State and to practice before the Tax Court.
Elliott currently sits on the Board of Trustees of Ridgeway Country Club where he serves as chairman of the Finance Committee and on the audit committee of Hillel at Binghamton. In addition, he advises several small private foundations as to tax related matters. He has served on the Executive Committee of DFK-USA, an organization of affiliated accounting firms, as well as co-op, condominium and religious organization boards.
A founding member of Radin Glass, Marsha P. Ellowitz has risen through the ranks
in public accounting.
She started her career as a full charge bookkeeper with several large,
multinational non-profit organizations.
While pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public accounting, she joined Feldman Radin & Co. as a student intern in 1978. Upon graduation from Pace University, she joined the small business department
of Price Waterhouse
& Co. After three years with Price, in 1983 she rejoined Art Radin as a full-time
member of the audit staff, eventually rising to the level of audit manager.
While working on a Master’s of Science Degree in Taxation, Marsha relinquished her position as audit
manager to join the Firm
’s tax department. She earned her degree from Pace University in December 1990 and in January 1991
became the Firm
’s first female partner.
As a tax partner with Radin Glass & Co., Marsha has both client and administrative responsibilities. She oversees the preparation and production of tax returns for some of the Firm’s largest business clients and is especially adept at multi-state,
multi-corporate returns.
In addition to handling the routine compliance work for these clients, she has
also represented them in audit examinations with the Internal Revenue Service,
New York City, New York State, New Jersey and many other states.
Marsha finds her work with individuals, both on the corporate and individual
levels, most satisfying.
In one case alone, she is responsible for more than twenty-five returns covering
individuals from three generations of one family, along with their business and
investment entities and trusts.
Marsha is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and
the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and has served as
the Treasurer of a 310 unit Manhattan co-op for ten years.
Helen R. Liao has been associated with Arthur Radin, Elliott Glass, and Marsha
Ellowitz since 1990 when she joined Feldman Radin
& Co., PC as a staff accountant. After a brief period at an accounting firm on Long Island, Helen joined Radin
Glass in 2000 and was named Partner January 2001.
In addition to providing accounting and auditing services to clients, she is
responsible for the Firm
’s annual inspection and in-house CPE training.
Helen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Pace University. As a
Certified Public Accountant, Helen maintains memberships in the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey, New York,
and District of Columbia Societies of Certified Public Accountants. Helen also
participates in various professional associations and is a member of the New
York State Society of Certified Public Accountants
